Kirsten is the founder of Nest, an educator with over 25 years of experience working in early childhood and support roles within schools. Kirsten created Nest's Emotional Wellness Programs for children, after seeing a growing need within children, struggling with increased anxiety and stress, resilience, emotional regulation, friendships and connections. She aspires to create a positive change by equipping and empowering children with their emotional wellbeing in a safe and supportive space. Kirsten builds meaningful connections with each child helping them feel valued and heard, while giving them the confidence and skills to ‘fly’. Kirsten is a Sunshine Coast local, living in the beautiful Caloundra area for over 18 years, with her husband and two teenage children. She loves spending time with her family making the most of the beautiful natural environment that the Coast offers. Her other ‘loves’ include stand up paddleboarding, swimming, reading, and sustainable fashion.

What about NDIS funding?

We are here to help! Your child's and family's needs are paramount, so we can work closely with you, your support co-ordinator and plan manager to create a specialised program to meet your child's goals. Group and one on one sessions may be claimable for self or plan-managed NDIS participants. Please check whether NDIS funding will fully or partially cover costs. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us.
